Anything mentioned below is for historical purposes.

 

After releasing the V1, I still noticed there were many typos, grammatical, and timing errors still in place. These have been fixed as best as they could have and then retimed to the UHDBD video. I'm open to fixing them even more if there are any suggestions.


The only things that have been removed from the previous release but will reappear in V3 are the following:

Japanese Closed Captions
Japanese Audio Commentaries

These were removed so they can be retimed.

Note about the 7.1 Audio Track:
This is not the special edition audio. There are no redubbed lines, replaced sound effects, or rearrangement of the soundtrack. It is however an upmix of the original theatrical audio with additional ambient sound effects. If you are seeking the true original theatrical audio, it is the FLAC 2.0 audio track.


What will be included in V3?

The Special Edition audio will be included in the V3. It requires a bit more work than the original theatrical audio version. Additionally the audio needs to be updated using the NA BD track as the only versions out there in the wild are the ones from the 2002 R1 DVD version. This would be a much lower priority though as releasing the Complete Version is the next item on my docket.

I now, after so many months, present the v3 of the Gundam Movie Trilogy.  Unfortunately I had a lot of personal tragedies between summer and winter 2022 so this was delayed. Mobile Suit Gundam The Complete Version V1 Released

Mobile Suit Gundam Movie Trilogy Retranslated Released

The subtitles update the translation from the 1998 VHS and the 2000 special edition releases to use the TV version’s subtitles.   “The movies are already subtitled why make this?” Since most people are either/or when it comes to the original Mobile Suit Gundam series opting to only watch the TV version or only watch the movie version, most would also never notice that the movie trilogy and the TV version use two different subtitle scripts even though both versions share ~95% of the same dialogue.
