Mobile Suit Gundam Movie Trilogy Re-Translated V3 Released

I now, after so many months, present the v3 of the Gundam Movie Trilogy. 

Unfortunately I had a lot of personal tragedies between summer and winter 2022 so this was delayed. I apologize right now to some people I was unable to answer during that time period.

From a technical perspective, I moved the video and audio back to the BD release. There were some compromises I needed to make because of that and now, as a result a V4 must be created.

What will be included in V4?


V4 will have the lowest priority since I am attempting to complete a few additional side series. The only major addition to V4 will be the Special Edition Audio.

I know, I previously mentioned that the Special Edition audio was to be included in V3, this did not happen. Due to moving the subtitles back to the BD version from the UHDBD version, I have nothing from the Special Edition completed subtitles-wise except for the fonts and styles. Each line needs to be reviewed from the theatrical version's subtitles since sometimes there are differences between the two in terms of timing and what is said so all of this will appear in the V4 and hopefully that is the final, final release. 

The other thing that will be included in the V4 will be the UHDBD Japanese 2.0 and 7.1 audio. Please refer to the V2 notes about the UHDBD audio. Once they have been retimed to the BD video, the 2.0 UHDBD audio will supercede the BD audio and the UHDBD 7.1 audio, which is an upmix, will be available as an additional audio track.

Mobile Suit Gundam Movie Trilogy Retranslated Released
